Fenced In throw quilt

I'm so happy you all are excited about my Wonky Stripes tutorial! Can't wait to see how yours turn out!

A little while back I fell in love with a fabric collection, Priory Square. I must have been dreaming of spring! So I know I'm not alone here but let's be honest...I don't need to buy another fabric collection. So what I did was try to recreate the color palette of Priory Square with fabrics I already had. The pink I used isn't quite the same but overall I'm pleased with how it turned out.

I went with the tried and true Fenced In pattern by Elizabeth Hartman using Essex Linen in Flax for the background.

I did order some Priory Square fabrics for the back. I don't use a lot of large scale florals but I really do love this one! Very bright and cheerful.

Fenced In

And we have a winner! comment #2 Devin from For Making's Sake! I hope you enjoy the needles! (shoot me an email at mle_mcclendon(at)charter(dot)net with your address)
I am very appreciative of all your thoughts and opinions about which stripe color to choose for my Paulie Cardigan! I think I'm going to take all your advice and go with a 2 pink/1 orange combo like my swatch. :) I'm ready to start plugging away on this thing.

Here are some very mediocre pictures of a quilt I made for my Aunt about a month ago. I used the Fenced In pattern from The Practical Guide to Patchwork by Elizabeth Hartman (Oh Fransson) but made fewer blocks for a smaller quilt. I think it ended up being about 52" by 64", a perfect throw size.Fenced In
This was a fun pattern, I highly recommend it!

Love the Modern Meadow tree fabric by Joel Dewberry!

I hope everyone has a great week! How is time slipping by so fast?!
