Well Hello! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, etc!
I don't know about you but I just had so much going on in December that I just had to take a break afterwards. Despite my plan to maintain a stress free month I somehow managed to take on three custom quilt orders. It really wasn't too bad but something had to give and that was the blog. And even though the blog has been quiet, the sewing hasn't stopped! I just finished another custom quilt and have three more in the queue. It's actually been really great and I'm thankful to be keeping busy with pretty fabrics!
This sweet little scrappy trip quilt is actually a take two. The day after the original one sold I got a message from a customer asking for one just like it. No problem! I had just enough of the Les Amis foxes and owls.
This wonky cross quilt was commissioned by my Aunt for a wedding gift on New Years Eve. She thought the couple would love the colors I used in this table runner. It has kind of a beachy vibe!
I love how the backing came out! Can't go wrong with Ikea script fabric.
Here is another repeat quilt. A customer saw one I made last year. I have to say this one was really fun to make even a second time around! I used this tutorial.
And I showed you this one when I finished the top. It looks so lovely all quilted up and it's now at home up in frigid Canada being very useful I'm sure! Inspired by this quilt.
Well, that catches me up a bit! I really love January when things start returning to "normal". Happy 2014 to you!

Your projects are all so crisp and gorgeous. I think I particularly like the wonky cross quilt but really they're all fantastic!
