Trying to stay out of trouble....

.....the internet makes it so hard!!! I'm talking about yarn people! Y.A.R.N.! it's everywhere and so, so temping! everywhere I go it's calling out to me..."buy me, you need me, I'm the most beautiful yarn you've ever seen!" *sigh*
It's this and this that has me weak in the knees. I want some. very. very. badly. Sock yarn is so awesome! all the beautiful colors are what get to me. I'm trying really hard not to build up a gigantic "stash" and I've actually been doing really well. I do have a small stash but most of the yarn has an assigned project. With sock yarn it seems different though. It seems like one of those yarns where you can't have too much of. I mean, most yarn you know you can get it anytime, especially on the internet, but all this one-of-a-kind hand-dyed stuff that makes you drool....you just have to get it now or you may not have another chance.
Well, I haven't done any damage so far but it's tough! especially when you have a job where you sit at a computer all day and it's so easy to hop over to the virtual yarn stores to have a look. You know what I mean!

EDITED (like 10 minutes later): ooops

Thanks for stopping by my blog:) I totally agree with you that sock yarn temptation is everywhere. My stash just keeps growing.

So, did you buy that Paris colorway...I'd been eyeing it:) It's gorgeous!

Thanks for the comment on my blog! I think socks help to motivate me between big projects, too. Of course, right now, I've been doing so many socks that I'm dying to start a big sweater! :)

My thoughts exactly about the sock yarn. It's also especially tempting when you can add a little to your collection for (relatively) not that much money. It's like the candy in the check out line.
