Hello and happy Friday! Today I'm linking up with the Blogger's Quilt Festival. I'm entering this quilt into the Two Color Quilt category.
This being my second Double Plus Quilt (pattern here), it came together very quickly!
I have to tell you I was completely inspired by my real life friend Leslie, who when she tested the pattern for me, came up with the idea of using two different shades for the background pluses. You can see her beautiful version here (hi Les!).
So, here is my version using two different background plus colors. One is a super subtle medium gray dot and the other is this Stitch Square in Stone, a really nice grayish brown.
When I was choosing the color scheme, I fell in love with this gorgeous teal floral print by Juliana Horner.
I had to have it on the back too! :)
All in all, I LOVE how this quilt came out! The size of this came out to be 45"x60", perfect for snuggling up with!
