A while back, I started some Polaroid blocks.
And now they look like this:
I'm on a mission to make more gender-neutral baby quilts so I used a green Kona cotton (Celery) I had on hand for the background. I added a couple of subtle prints in a similar shade of green to add interest. Using the very last of my AMH Good Folks Filigree (the slightly darker green print) was HARD! It's such a great print but you should only hoard things for so long, right?
I used this tutorial but made the center squares 3" instead of 2". I kept the white part the same as what the tutorial calls for.
The main part of the backing is a Lotta Jansdotter print I got on clearance, score! I think it goes great with the green top. Oh, and a small strip of cameras from Birch Fabrics, fun right?
My plans for the rest of today are making a custom order mini quilt, start quilting on my Croquet Quilt and then to my favorite restaurant with the family for birthday celebrations. I hope your weekend is filled with fun, food and crafting too!

Fantastic! I love the non-traditional background colour that you chose. I so often tend to use white/cream/gray, that it's nice to see something different.
Awesome! I love it! Love the celery and the proportion of the polaroids and the few printed backgrounds. It's all fabulous!
You.Did.Good. Everything is just delicious. Especially that celery background. I think I may need to make me some blocks. Happy sewing my dear
Thank you so much for showing us the results. I was hoping you would do so and also tell us more about how you made it. It really looks marvelous and makes my fingers itch. I'd better get started! Greetings from Germany
Oh! I just LOVE it! Every bit of it!
This is by far my favorite polaroid picture quilt I've seen yet! Great job.
