Pattern: New York Cardigan
Yarn: KnitPicks Swish dk - 11 skeins
Needles: US # 7 & 9 circulars
Notes: Yeah, what a disappointment! I just love the sweater design but I think the yarn I used grew way too much and is too heavy for this large of a sweater. I wanted it to hit at the top of the thigh or so but it goes almost to my knees! Oh well, I guess it happens. The yarn is incredibly soft next to the skin so I'll probably just rip it and use it for something else. You would've thought I would've noticed it before getting to the end but adding the collar and then blocking it really did it in. I'm actually not too sad about it...I'm ready to move onto something new!

yeah i've had that experience with that yarn. i'd suggest washing and drying in the dryer but then you'd probably have a mess of pills on your hands. too bad--it looks like a nice sweater coat.
Good Gravy! The top portion, to the waist looks quite nice, although maybe a bit roomy in the armpit, but the collar and style are lovely.
I've used Knitpicks Swish before, and you're right, it does seem to grow after blocking. I love the color. Good luck in whatever you decide to do next!
So much knitting to be frogged! Oh no!
Oups... how sad... It looks so nice and it's so much work... At least you're taking it well... Knit on!!!
Oh no! That definitely did some stretching. Though honestly I think it looks ok like that - but if you're not happy with it I suppose frogging is best!
Oh Dear! Glad you've got a good attitude about it and that you'll be able to rip and re-purpose that good yarn.
Moving on...
