241 Tote

Wow, thanks for all the kind comments on my plus quilt!

I did some fun sewing a week and a half ago and made this little 241 Tote for myself. 241 Tote
A while back I had bought a half yard of the Viewfinders fabric specifically to make a tote. It took a while to decide on coordinating fabrics to go with it though. I'm telling you I agonized over this for forever! I finally picked the brown Alexander Heath, the Aunt Edna Houndstooth and the pink Modern Meadow Honeycomb.
241 Tote
This was really a simple and quick project, especially since I didn't add the zippers or sew a handle. I just used some square purse rings and a brown twill type strap (sorry, don't know what's it's called).
241 Tote
I love the magnetic snap to keep it closed!

mle ~ i love that you made the strap this way. that's my one worry with this tote, which i made for my sister... that the strap wouldn't hold up! this idea is perfect - in fact, i first thought it was leather. lovely bag!

It's GREAT! Love it. Did you have a viewfinder when you were a kid? I did!

Wonderful!

(by the way, the word recognition task on here is really tough! I find it works well to not moderate comments for the first 7 days and to make it so that I have to approve them after that.)
