An FO comes out of hiding.

Y'all aren't going to believe this, but I finished this beret almost 3 weeks ago. When I first finished it I wasn't sure how I liked it and it got set aside. The other day when it got really cold and icy/rainy here I pulled it out and put it on and whatdya know!, I liked it. I think it's pretty cute as long as I look in a mirror to "arrange" it the right way (I have no idea how to wear a beret!!). So here it is. I think I'll be wearing it on our outing to Ikea this weekend.

Pattern: Last Minute "Purled" Beret by Knit and Tonic Wendy
Yarn: Lamb's Pride worsted, maybe half a skein in some charcoal color
Needles: #9 dpns
Notes: I haven't blocked it yet so it doesn't really look like Wendy's. I think I'll wet block it at some point but only to even out the stitches because honestly, I like the "slouchy" look of it. In fact, I went back and forth with whether I should knit Le Slouch or the Purled Beret but in the end I was afraid the Le Slouch would be too slouchy. What a fun little project!
