New Pattern ~ Tribal Chevrons Table Runner

Hello! It's been quite a while since I've posted here. I'm doing great and still quilting lots but demands on time seem to be ever increasing! There are just so many online social places to be these days and I decided to try out Instagram as my main place for a while. I'm @quiltsbyemily and I'd LOVE to follow you too....leave a comment and let me know where I can find you! :)

I did want to share something I just finished up last week.
Several years ago I made a table runner. I've had lots of requests for the pattern and I started writing up instructions for it quite a while ago but ran into a few snags. I had a recent request to sew one of these up for someone so I took the opportunity to buckle down and finish writing it! Use coupon code NEWPATTERN to get $2 off this pattern in my Etsy shop now thru the end of October.

P.S. I'm still following blogs but don't comment much because I seem to always get an error, especially on Blogger, go figure! But just know that I truly enjoy seeing everything that you all create! so inspiring!

teetering tower of table runners

I just had to pop in and share this feeling of accomplishment. Yesterday, I quilted and finished 9 table runners! Definitely feels good and now I'm not panicking quite as much. :)

Earlier in the week, on an impulse, I decided to make some mug rugs to sell at the craft show (I used this tutorial). Last year, the lowest cost item I was selling was Kindle covers at $25 (which I think was a bit too high). So this year I want to try to offer a few things in the $10-$15 range. We'll see how it goes.

something old, something new

Happy Wednesday!

A few days ago I was too excited to start a new project with some Tule fabrics I got. I knew this Pow-Wow pattern would be perfect for them. I just finished quilting a few other quilts so I can now proceed with this one today!

Also, I wanted to show you a small finish. A few months ago I showed you a stack of fabrics.

With a few adjustments, they became a table runner. I adore this color combination!

My triangle tips aren't perfect on this one but I still love it!
